Eternal Gems runs a variety of events throughout the year, from massive multi-week team competitions to casual drop-in activities. Here's a breakdown of our recurring event formats so you know what to expect when you see one announced.
Bingos are our most popular and most beloved event format. Teams are assigned at random and work together over the course of the event to complete tiles on a board. Tiles cover a wide range of content, from skilling and clue scrolls all the way up to end game PvM, so there's almost always something you can contribute regardless of where your account is at.
What makes bingos special is the team element. You'll be working closely with a group of clanmates, which is one of the best ways to meet people you might not normally interact with. Don't worry if you're newer or less experienced, balanced teams are a priority and every contribution counts.
Bingos are announced in advance with plenty of notice. Keep an eye on the #official-events channel in Discord for sign up information and deadlines.
Masses are drop-in group events where clanmates gather to take on a boss or piece of content together. They're lower commitment than bingos, usually running for just a couple of hours, and you don't need to sign up in advance. If you're free when one is announced, just show up.
Masses are a great way to try content you haven't done before in a low pressure environment, meet clanmates, and get some drops along the way. No experience with the content is necessary, just bring yourself and be ready to have fun.
Mass events are announced in the #mass-events channel and sometimes called out in clan chat directly. Keep notifications on if you don't want to miss them.
Learner events are structured sessions designed to help clanmates get comfortable with content they haven't tried before, whether that's a raid, a boss, or anything in between. These are intentionally low pressure. The goal is learning, not perfection, and you will never be made to feel bad for not knowing something.
Learner events are run in small groups so you get proper attention and can ask questions along the way. If there's a piece of content you've been wanting to try but haven't felt ready for, a learner event is the perfect place to start.
Keep an eye on the #mass-events channel for upcoming learner events. If there's specific content you'd love to see a learner event for, let a staff member know. 💎
