Hi, What is Find Something Beautiful?

A simple, everyday experiment to notice beauty together. It is a part of Chali Kahani… — a community for intentional experiences.

Who is this for?

For you, if you've ever stopped mid-walk because the light hit something just right — but then immediately forgot about it.

For anyone who thinks they're "not a creative person" but secretly stops to look at things. For the ones who want to slow down but don't know how to start. For regular observers who want an easy, welcoming corner to share what they see. For the curious ones who think beauty is dramatic and reserved for sunsets — it's not. Or someone sitting in a café, not really looking at anything, who wants to start.

What am I signing up for?

  1. Noticing something beautiful for 30 days From today. 30 days. One beautiful thing a day. Join whenever. Show up however.

  2. Anything counts A photo. A one-liner. A small article. A badly-shot video. The beautiful thing matters. The format doesn't.

  3. Share if you want Post in the group daily. Optional, but strangely motivating.

  4. Recreate if you can Sometimes the most fun part is trying to make something beautiful yourself — a sketch, a poem, a rearranged table. No pressure though.

Okay tell me why…

  1. Why are we noticing beauty? Humans are wired for pessimism — survival instinct and all that. But we're way past survival now. We don't need constant doubt. Noticing beauty helps you be more present and appreciate what's already here. Presence.

  2. Why do it daily? Because beauty is everywhere, but only if you're looking. Doing this every day trains you to actually look. Attention.

  3. Why do it together? Because you sharing lets others see what you see. And you get to see the world through eleven other people's eyes. That's just a very good deal. Wonder.

Now, let's get you in:

Please drop a 2-3 line fun intro of yourself in the group when you join. (Hi! I am Anuj. Loves running at unreasonable hours, hates lukewarm chai, thinks spider-webs are criminally underrated.)

House Rules:

  1. First rule of Find Something Beautiful: You tell at least three people about it. (Yes, immediately.)

  2. The beautiful thing cannot be a sunset. Just kidding. It can be. But try harder first.

  3. No unsolicited opinions on each other's beautiful things. If someone found a drain cover beautiful, that drain cover is beautiful. Respect the drain cover.
