Bokyung Shin continuously explores the boundaries between the sonic and the non-sonic, offering new perspectives on the familiar. Utilizing the computer as a contemporary instrument, he investigates a musical language that reflects the era we live in, while actively engaging in interdisciplinary collaborations across dance, visual arts, and installation.
His compositions have been presented at prestigious domestic and international venues, including ICMC, NYCEMF, DICMF, CCMC, and ACMC. Additionally, he has participated as a sound designer in renowned festivals such as the Ars Electronica Festival, ACT Festival, and Unfold X.
Expanding his artistic scope beyond concert performance to include VR, video, game and exhibitions, he is currently presenting his works on global stages across Korea, the United States, Germany, Austria, Japan and Australia.
신보경은 익숙한 것을 새롭게 바라보며, 소리와 비소리의 경계를 넘나드는 음악 작업을 이어가고 있다. 동시대의 악기인 컴퓨터를 활용해 우리가 살아가는 시대를 반영하는 음악적 언어를 탐구하며, 무용·영상·설치 등 다양한 예술 분야의 협업에도 관심을 두고 있다.
그의 작품은 ICMC, NYCEMF, DICMF, CCMC, ACMC 등 국내외 페스티벌에서 연주되었으며 Ars Electronica Festival, ACT Festival, Unfold X 등 다양한 페스티벌에 사운드 디자이너로서 참여하였다.
현재는 공연 작품뿐만 아니라 VR, 영상, 게임, 전시 등 다양한 분야에 관심을 가지고 한국, 미국, 독일, 오스트리아, 일본, 호주 등 다양한 무대에서 작품을 발표하고 있다.
