When you create or use a BuzzBuzz account, we may receive information such as your email address, display name, profile information, authentication provider, and an account identifier associated with Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or another supported login method.
We generally do not receive or store your Apple or Google account password.
BuzzBuzz processes step-count and related activity information in order to provide features such as daily progress, goals, streaks, hive rankings, statistics, and rewards.
Depending on your device and settings, step information may come from your device's motion and fitness sensors or, on supported Apple devices, Apple HealthKit.
When you use social features, we may process information such as your hive memberships, invitations, selected bee or profile appearance, step totals shared within a hive, and content you choose to upload.
BuzzBuzz includes features that allow users to share photos with their hive, including Bee Cam Diary and Color Hunt content.
Photo posts may be designed to stop appearing in the app after a limited period, such as approximately 24 hours. Disappearing from the app does not necessarily mean that every technical copy is immediately erased. Copies may temporarily remain in operational systems, caches, or backups before being deleted or overwritten.
We may automatically receive limited technical information such as app version, operating system, device type, language, IP address, push-notification identifiers, crash information, performance information, and interactions with app features.
We may use product analytics services, including PostHog, to understand how people use BuzzBuzz, identify bugs, measure feature adoption, and improve the app.
BuzzBuzz does not use HealthKit-derived information for advertising, targeted advertising, or advertising profiling.
