Remember shopping at factory outlets? Irresistible deals on the country's biggest brands that seemed too good to be true. We're bringing that experience online.

For Real is building India's first curated online factory outlet - think TJ Maxx but for India. We unlock last season's collections from top brands and bring them to users at prices that make sense. The 'off-price' market is the next big opportunity in Indian e-commerce, and we're the pioneers.

We are backed by Titan Capital and angels including the founders of Unacademy and Clovia. We're pre-launch, which means you get to lay the foundational building blocks of what will become the country's branded value shopping destination.

What you'll do

Build systems and Own stability (60% of your time)

• Design and implement personalized recommendation systems to drive discovery and conversions
• Own the end-to-end ML workflow: data pipelines, model integration, evaluation, and iteration
• Balance AI capabilities with product constraints: latency, cost, and reliability
• Refine core backend features: catalog management, inventory sync, order processing, and payment flows
• Design clean APIs and services with strong focus on correctness, edge cases, and reliability
• Work with databases: schema design, indexing, query performance, and data consistency
• Handle production readiness: monitoring, logging, debugging, and hardening systems over time
• Jump into frontend (React/Next.js) when the team needs it.
