Jason Nawty

A career in the late 90s as a DJ and Producer for the 12 Inch Thumpers forged Jason Nawty’s place in Hardhouse history. At that time he produced under the alias of “Tempohead” too.

After a 15 year break he came back with a vengeance becoming a Worldwide Top 10 selling Hype Trance Artist having learned the new skills required to write good trance, both hard/ Tech and 138.

He has headlined alongside Rob Tissera, Skol, Ben Stevens, Anne Savage, lisa Pinup Tom Berry, Lisa Lashes, Andy Farley,Amber D, Jon Hemming and many more at promotions such as:-

Tidy Weekender, Sundissential, Frantic, Ministry of Sound, Insanity, Filth Face, Twisted, GoodGreef, Sunny Side Up, X-Static, Afterssential, The Monastery, Eden, BerZereK

He has had his Trance, Hardhouse and Bounce productions signed to 3 Phase, “Traffic” Recordings, “Hybit”, Tidy Trax, Bouncing Bomb, Cheeky, Excite, Bounce Heaven, HTE, 12 Inch Thumpers, Frantic digital, Shock records, and "Positive State"

HeCo-Founded the Trance Label “Positive State” which took off and he helped secure track signings by the biggest names on the planet, I.e, Binary Finary, Metta & Glyde, Alex Mo, Kenny Palmer, Lab4 and more.

His track "Transparent"with NG Rezonance on this label has made him one of only a few “1 million Spotify “streamed UK Hard Dance artists.

He has engineered over 40 tracks since his return, some of which have a regular place in sets from the likes of Anne Savage and Lisa Pinup. He simply loves helping keep the Hardhouse scene alive with his hardhouse / hardbounce productions.

He says…. “if I am not being booked for a single genre, then I don’t like to pigeon hole my sets, I like to have an open mind and my eyes on the crowd, so that I can take them where they lose it, the most. It could be bouncy, vocally, trancey, dirty, or simply all 4. I feel the crowds energy and let them inspire me. Being able to do the odd well executed scratching flutter, and use of the FX on mixers, helps to elevate them as well, PLUS I am EXTREMELY animated when on stage… you couldn’t pay me to stand still frankly.
