Light of Origin is a spatial installation that explores how light defines and structures space beyond illumination. The project investigates light as a directional force that shapes perception, movement, and emotional transitions within a controlled spatial environment.
Through the integration of calibrated IES lighting systems, reflective materials, and a sequence of compression and release, the space constructs a layered narrative. Darkness is not treated as absence, but as an active component that allows light to emerge gradually.
Rather than uniformly illuminating surfaces, the design introduces gradients of light and shadow to guide the observer through a restrained yet immersive experience. The project emphasizes precision in lighting composition while maintaining an underlying sense of tension and subtle emergence.
