NoteCrux Privacy Policy

NoteCrux is a local-first iOS app for recording, transcribing, and summarizing meetings. This policy explains what data NoteCrux does and does not collect.

Data stored on your device

• Audio recordings
• Transcripts
• Meeting summaries, highlights, action items, and tasks
• Folder organization and app settings

All of the above is stored only on your iPhone in NoteCrux's private app container. It is never uploaded to any server operated by CoderGautamYT or any third party.

On-device AI processing Transcription, summarization, and insight extraction are performed on-device using Apple Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence). Audio and transcript content does not leave your device for AI processing.

Data collected by Google AdMob (our advertising partner) NoteCrux shows an occasional interstitial ad between meetings to support the free version. Google AdMob and its certified ad networks may collect:

• Device identifier for advertising (IDFA), if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission
• Approximate location (derived from IP address)
• Aggregated usage metrics for ad attribution and fraud prevention

You can opt out of personalized ads at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or via the in-app consent form. For details, see Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Remove Ads in-app purchase A one-time $4.99 purchase permanently disables the banner ads for your Apple ID. Payment processing is handled by Apple; NoteCrux does not see your payment information.

Data we do not collect

• We do not run any servers that receive your data.
• We do not use analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude).
• We do not use crash-reporting SDKs (no Sentry, no Crashlytics).
