This project focuses on installing and using OBS Studio to record and capture IT tasks. The purpose is to document technical work such as troubleshooting, configurations, and system setup in real time. By using OBS, tasks can be clipped and reviewed later, making it easier to track progress, identify mistakes, and improve overall performance. This tool also helps create clear visual records that can be used for learning, presentations, or sharing solutions with others.
Installation Process
obsproject.com > Windows or select your OS
Run the Wizard/exe
Where you want your obs installation to go.
Click Install > Finish
this is where we will be adding a source, a source is basically what will be picked up when recording
We will be adding display capture, this captures the whole screen.
Press OK
Now Select your capture method mine is Primary Monitor.
