(Exterior. Coffee shop and office building. Morning. The Miami heat is already thick. The building has two street-level doors: COFFEE SHOP and OFFICE LOBBY. Between them, on the sidewalk, CLAUDE sits at a small folding table, working on watercolor sketches. A half-eaten sandwich wrapped in foil rests beside him. MIA, G, and QUINN approach. QUINN walks slightly apart, shrugging her work bag higher on her shoulder, scanning for something, and putting up her hair. She stops outside the coffee shop.)
QUINN
(resigned)
No sign of him.
MIA
Of who?
G
The llama. Quinn’s been looking for him all morning. I’ll keep watch. Does he have any distinguishing markings?
MIA
It’s a llama. In Coconut Grove. It’s not like a peacock. If you see a llama, it’s probably— Does it have a name?
QUINN
He. Llama is a he.
G
He. Got it. And Llama is his name?
