PMBOK 的演進邏輯

原書指出，PMBOK自 1987年開始發展，版本演進一方面回應profession與market changes，一方面保留持續有效的fundamental elements。第八版不是簡單回到舊版Process Groups，而是把principle-based thinking與technical processes重新整合。

四階段 Evidence-Based Development

Phase 1—Qualitative：以多國project managers進行live、chat-based discussions，探索themes與market needs。

Phase 2—Quantitative：向約 64,000名下載第七版的professionals發出online survey，收到 3,400多份responses，用來全球驗證Phase 1 hypotheses。

Phase 3—Draft Feedback：25名volunteers依前兩階段evidence建立full draft，再向community公開，取得近 9,000則comments／suggestions。

Phase 4—ANSI Review：development team再修訂後送ANSI formal review，取得約 3,900則additional practitioner comments。

三項直接影響第八版的 Market Findings

原書列出的關鍵發現包括：

88% respondents支持principle-based standard，但要求principles更actionable、較少overlap與confusion。

Principles 為何從12項變6項

第八版保留principle-based standard，但把概念聚焦、去除與其他sections重複的部分，並增加每項principle的實際行動表現。其結果就是The Standard中的6項principles，以及與7 Performance Domains、5 Focus Areas、40 processes互相連動的新版架構。
