Purpose

Automate and standardize the annual renewal process for all existing 1040 individual tax clients. This workflow replaces manual use of Practice Ignition, ClickUp tasks, and LaunchBay for the renewal cycle.

Scope & Exclusions

In Scope: All active 1040 clients returning for the current tax year.

Excluded — Sandra handles manually:

• Monthly Service clients (they auto-renew by subscription)
• Clients flagged Skip This Year
• Deceased clients
• Out of Office / on-leave staff assignments

Batch Cadence

• Start Date: October 16 each year
• Batch Size: 10–15 clients per week, staggered
• Process runs through mid-November; all proposals pushed to client portal by November 15
