One-Acter Play is a companion quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
This quest is received after talking to Alba in the Roost after For the love of Treviso.
Following the Red Templar trail led the group to the local Chantry, where an old friend of Alba showed up. Sapphira, a mage who used to work by their side back when they were with the Inquisition. They had lost contact after a mission that went poorly in Nessum.
Alba wants to avoid a battle, but Hira forces their hand by hurting Rook. The battle starts, and Hira uses her abilities to create a magical platform and attack the group from above. Rook and their allies can only fight her using projectiles for the first part of her fight. When her magical platform cracks, she falls to the ground, weakened. She then tries to make herself invisible to heal herself, until spotted by Rook. The fight goes on, until Hira is left breathless on the floor. Even then, she cast the remain of her magic on Rook, barely missing them, did Alba not moved in.

Alba: I’m sorry, Hira. I can’t let you harm anyone. Let alone yourself.
Alba falls on their knees in front of her, holding her in a hug, as they casted flames that quickly surrounds Hira. The elf gets up, looking the other way, as she vanishes in silence, not even uttering a single scream. Rook looks at Hira’s body, magically turning into white ashes. For a second, she seemed to… sincerely smile.
Rook: It's over…
Alba: Why… Alba: Why do we always have to kill more people? Alba: I— I know that I'm a Crow, and it shouldn't affect me as much, but killing friends is always a hard pill to swallow. Alba: The Hira I knew was a joyful young woman. She had a lover, dreams and felt like she was finally part of something that could really make a difference, joining the Inquisition. (He pauses, breathing heavily, tears about to fall off his eyelids) (Finally, he lets out a chuckle) Alba: She had a tragic story, like any hero... Yet why was she the villain of this tale? Tell me Rook. Why does this victory had to taste like ashes? Alba: We treated the symptom and not the cause. She was but a mere pawn in their wicked game. She deserved better.

“The Crows sent their regards, right?”
Rook: What is it you usually say? “The Crows sent their regards?”
Alba: (Chuckles sadly) I'm not in the mood.

“She left you no choice.”
Rook: It had to be done, she gave us no choice.
Alba: I know. But it doesn't make things easier.

Rook: For a moment, before she disappeared, I’m certain I caught a smile.
They stare at the torch on the walls of the Chantry, eye shimmering with tears, a reluctant smile of relief drawing on their lips..
Alba: I’ll need a moment. Thank you, both of you. I’ll meet you back at the Lighthouse later.
