A simple guide for editing Lloyd's videos. Read this once. Come back when you need it.

What we're making

Lloyd shoots a lot of behind-the-scenes footage. He talks for a long time. I cut his long clips down to short ones. Then I send them to you with a brief.

You take that short clip and turn it into a piece of content that:

1. Tells a story
2. Looks cinematic
3. Could go viral

Every video must make the viewer feel something. Happy. Sad. Hyped. Curious. It doesn't matter which one. It just has to make them feel.

If the viewer feels nothing, we failed.

The 3 rules

1. Every video must tell a story

A story has a start, a middle, and an end.

• Start: A hook. Make the viewer want to know what happens next.
• Middle: The journey. What Lloyd is doing or saying.
