본 작품은 세계 식량안보 문제를 자급자족의 관점에서 재조명한 디자인 프로젝트로, 2025년 6월 4일부터 8일까지 국민대학교 조형관에서 개최된 한국디자인학회 국제초대전에 출품되었다. 급변하는 국제 정세와 기후 위기 속에서 식량 자급의 중요성이 재부각되는 현실을 반영하여, 디자인을 통해 이 문제에 대한 인식을 환기하고 대안적 관점을 제시하고자 하였다.

Global Food Security 2025: A Self-Sufficiency Perspective is a design work exploring global food security through the lens of self-sufficiency. The piece was presented at the Korean Society of Design Science International Invitational Exhibition, held at the Cho Hyung Art & Design Building, Kookmin University, from June 4 to 8, 2025. Responding to shifting global conditions and the growing urgency of food self-sufficiency, the work seeks to raise awareness of this issue and offer an alternative design perspective.
