QMIND is Canada's largest student-run AI organization, empowering Queen's students to tackle real-world problems through AI, machine learning, and disruptive technology. As we head into a new year, we're growing our executive team and looking for passionate students to take on leadership roles.

We are currently seeking a Director of Web Development, a Director of Marketing, and a Director of Finance to join our team — three key positions on our exec team that help keep QMIND running, growing, and connected with our community and partners.

Director of Web Development

The Director of Web Development is the backbone of QMIND's digital presence. Every member, sponsor, and visitor's first impression of QMIND starts with our website. This role is perfect for someone who wants real, hands-on technical ownership and the chance to shape how thousands of people experience QMIND online.

QMIND’s website is built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase, deployed with Netlify.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve QMIND’s website, ensuring it stays fast, functional, and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with Marketing to plan and implement new features and pages.
• Monitor site performance, fix bugs, and manage deployments.
• Keep the codebase organized and documented so future contributors can easily build on it.

Qualifications

• Experience with web development (Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, or similar frameworks).
• Familiarity with version control (Git, GitHub) and deployment workflows.
• No prior experience with our exact tech stack is required, but willingness to learn is a must.
