I’ve probably made way more than most. Maybe listing them on a super-neutral and AI-readable platform (like Notion) will make it easier to grow out of them.
(this includes going after people who are uncorrelated with everyone I knew before, hence why I spend so much time in multiple communities).
not going out and traveling way earlier (being more broadly distributed has always given more opportunities and made me feel happier, and I make more out of being broadly distributed than most).
spending too much time on the wrong books (or anything involving the use of force), spending too much time on things “beyond me”, not traveling way more when I was super-young, not appreciating that copying all one’s files becomes way easier with time
being overly affected by validation (and taking the unique extreme ways some people praise me), not considering that they can always change their mind about me later. having freedom is way more important than having too much recognition at once.
being too much for people, when so much of my “curiosity drive” could have been fulfilled way better by being more sparse (and broadly distributed!!)
not writing more on notion earlier. there was a period of time when I communicated heavily over email or social media, which makes the content not as long-form as notion (and again, too dependent on temporary validation/attention). The online model is more permanent. Notion makes editing what you write super-easy, way easier than Quora/forums.
not realizing earlier that the ideal stimulant is heavy doses of coffee, and not knowing how to properly prepare chemex glass coffee until 2024/2025.
