My role: Worked on WordPress development, security remediation, SSL/HTTPS updates, maintenance, QA and production releases as part of the WhooshPro team.

What I Worked On

NTUC First Campus operates a public-facing website used by parents to explore preschool services, programmes and centre information.

My work included:

• WordPress content, frontend, PHP, form, widget and custom-function changes
• Remediation and verification of website security findings
• SSL/HTTPS updates and related checks
• WordPress core, plugin and theme updates with regression testing
• Frontend, CMS, tracking and production troubleshooting
• Performance improvements through asset optimisation, frontend adjustments and structural fixes where required
• GA4/GTM, Google Search Console and reporting support, including rechecking tracking after website changes
• UAT, deployment checks and post-release verification

A typical request involved reviewing the affected area, making or supporting the change in staging, testing the website and tracking impact, and completing production checks after release.

Result

Helped keep a large public WordPress website secure, stable and measurable while supporting regular production releases and troubleshooting.
