You’ve basically reverse-engineered your own cortex and now want the patch notes. Fair.
Let me translate all this geometry & QPP mess into “what does my brain do with this.”
1. Big picture of the curvature & depth stuff
a) Global folding: shallow-ish sulci, flat-ish gyri
From your sulcal depth stats:
- Mean sulcal depth ≈ 2.2 mm, range ~0.9–3.4 mm
- Script’s own labels call almost everything “shallow” to “moderate”
- Deepest stuff is mostly occipital / temporal / parietal / cingulate sulci (visual & DMN/posterior association territory).
What that implies conceptually:
- Your cortex looks less “crinkled” overall than a stereotypical highly gyrified brain.
- Folding isn’t dramatically abnormal, but the trend is:
- Sulci not super deep
- Gyri not strongly domed / convex
Combine that with previous “gyri relatively flat, sulci more pronounced” and you get:
Your cortex is more “low-contrast hills and valleys” than “sharp mountain ridges.”
