🌱 Introduction

Open Culture Tech

Open Culture Tech makes immersive technology more accessible to artists. We run residencies, publish open-source tools, and host showcases to share insights with the music industry.

The role of AIxDESIGN in the project is two-fold:

🪈 Saz-e-yaad → At AIxD, we’re collaborating with artist-in-residence Lacuna to build an AI-powered music-making tool that explores the archives of Kashmiri music for creative inspiration, rather than production efficiency.

🎹 AIxMusic Workshop Series → As part of OCT, AIxD & Thunderboom are hosting a series of online and offline workshops around Immersive Tech and Gen AI for music artists.

OCT is an initiative by Thunderboom and the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision, in collaboration with six partners (AIxDESIGN, Superposition, Wij Doen Dingen, Bureau Moeilijke Dingen, Bedrijf de Liefde, Chagall, & Wesley Hartogs).
