이영미 교수는 부모-아동 상호작용(parent-child interaction, PCI)을 중심으로 장애 영유아와 부모 간의 의사소통 특성과 상호작용 기반 중재에 관한 연구를 수행해왔습니다. 현재까지 국내외 저명 학술지 및 KCI 등재 학술지에 약 110편의 연구 논문을 발표하였으며, 이 중 부모-아동 상호작용 관련 주요 연구 논문을 아래와 같이 정리하였습니다.
