A measure of a device’s relative reliability, calculated most simply as the standard deviation divided by the mean of a group of measurements, and expressed as a percentage (e.g., how much CMJ jump height measurements from the Output Sports IMU fluctuate due to measurement error across multiple CMJ trials from the same individual). As a percentage-based measure of relative reliability, CV allows comparison of the reliability of different measurements and devices (1,2).
