Being replaced (October 9, 2026). This page documents v1.6 (28 Sep). The redesign defines new documentation: one source (docs/entries/*.md) published to the app, archhub.io and here, page by page with a supersession note on each. Until an entry is replaced it stays valid. Design authority: ‣.

ArchHub user guide
For architects and engineers. You don't need to know any programming. Updated 2026-09-28.
1. What ArchHub is
- ArchHub is a Windows desktop app where you build your design work as nodes on a canvas. Each node does one job, and wires carry results from one node to the next.
- It connects to your design apps: Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Rhino and Blender. Nodes can read from them and change them.
- It lets you work with AI. You can chat with an AI model, or give a task to an assistant (such as Claude Code) and approve its work before anything changes.
- Your project is saved on your own computer. Nothing leaves it unless you allow it.
- ArchHub remembers facts about you and your office so its answers fit the way you work. This is Memory (the screen still calls it "Brain").
2. Install
You need: a Windows computer and the ArchHub installer file (ArchHub-Setup). Your office gives you this file, or you download it from the ArchHub releases page. You do not need administrator rights: ArchHub installs for your Windows user only.
- Double-click the installer.
- If your computer doesn't have the free program ArchHub runs on (Python), the installer tells you it will download it (about 33 MB) and install it for you. Click OK. This step needs internet.
- On "Select Additional Tasks", tick "Create a Desktop shortcut" if you want a Desktop icon. Click Next.
- On "Ready to Install", click Install and wait. If you cancel the Python download, ArchHub is not installed; run the installer again when ready.
- On the last page, leave "Open ArchHub now" ticked and click Finish.
Afterwards you'll find ArchHub and Uninstall ArchHub in the Start menu.
Updating by hand: run a newer installer over the old one. Your projects are kept.
