When your team starts using Vibe AI in Microsoft Teams, most of incident detection and context-gathering happens automatically in the background. This page explains what to expect day-to-day, so you know what Vibe AI is doing on your behalf — and when to step in.

The short version

Once your channels are configured, Vibe AI quietly watches them, turns real incident signals into tracked incidents, and keeps a live, continuously updated summary so your team always has the current picture. You don't need to do anything to start an incident or maintain context; you can always step in to declare, correct, or ask questions.

What Vibe AI watches

Vibe AI only monitors the channels configured for your organization during onboarding — typically your war room, monitoring/alert, and signal channels. It does not read your entire Teams workspace.

What happens when an incident is detected

When Vibe AI sees signals of an incident in a monitored channel — from a conversation or an incoming alert — it acts automatically:

1. An incident is created in the Vibranium Labs portal — no confirmation needed.
2. A notification is posted in your war room channel, with the incident title, severity, and a link to the incident detail page.
3. The surrounding context is captured — the source message and alert details are attached to the incident timeline.

This happens in near-real-time, so the incident is ready to coordinate around within moments of the signal appearing.
