DuoCam — Privacy Policy

DuoCam ("the app") is developed by Halime Güven. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. The short version: DuoCam is a camera app that runs on your device, and your photos and videos never leave it.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. DuoCam has no user accounts, no sign-up, no server of our own, and no analytics or advertising SDKs.
DuoCam uses your device's front and back cameras and your microphone to record dual-camera photos and videos. This footage is processed entirely on your device, in real time. It is never uploaded, streamed, or shared with us or any third party. The camera and microphone are only active while you are in the capture screen.
With your permission, DuoCam saves the photos and videos you shoot to your device's photo library. The in-app gallery reads only the DuoCam album that the app itself created, so you can play, share, or delete your recordings without leaving the app. We have no access to the rest of your library and we do not copy, index, or transmit any of it.
Location access is optional and is requested only if you turn on a watermark that stamps your location, altitude, or speed onto a recording. When enabled, your coordinates are used only to draw that watermark onto your own footage, only while you are shooting. Location data is never sent to us or stored anywhere outside your device and your own saved media. If a place name is shown in the watermark, the coordinates are converted to a place name by Apple's system geocoding service, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings, and the rest of the app keeps working normally.
DuoCam offers an optional paid subscription. Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store — we never see or receive your payment details. To manage subscription entitlements we use RevenueCat, which processes an anonymous, app-generated identifier and Apple's purchase receipt. This data is not linked to your identity and contains none of your photos, videos, or location. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, because we do not collect it in the first place. There is no tracking across apps or websites, and no advertising identifiers are used.
DuoCam is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them. As the app collects no personal data at all, no such information can be gathered.
All content created with DuoCam lives on your device. You can delete any recording from within the app or from the Photos app, and you can revoke camera, microphone, photo library, or location permission at any time in iOS Settings → DuoCam.
