Closer is operated by NZT48, Inc, a Delaware corporation ("Closer," "we," "us," or "our"). We are responsible for the personal information processed in connection with the service. You can contact us at [email protected].
This policy explains how we handle personal information when you create or join Hubs, communicate with other members, and use Closer’s community features.
We process account and sign-in information you provide, your display name, profile photo, and other profile details you choose to share.
We process the information you create through Closer, including Hub names and settings, memberships, roles, invitation codes, posts, photos, messages, comments, reactions, events, and poll responses. This includes information needed to associate content with its author, destination, and time.
Other people may provide information about you in messages, posts, invitations, or safety reports. When you contact us or report a problem, we process your correspondence and the information needed to investigate and respond.
Operating an online service also involves processing technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request timestamps. We use technical information as necessary to deliver the service, troubleshoot failures, and protect accounts.
We use information to create and maintain accounts; operate Hubs and membership controls; deliver messages; share posts and photos; provide events and polls; enable public Hub discovery; and respond to support requests.
We also process information to investigate reports, enforce community rules, prevent unauthorized access and abuse, meet legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.
Closer does not display advertisements. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We process personal information to provide and maintain the service described in this policy.
Private Hubs require membership to access their community content. Public Hubs can be discovered and joined by other users. Your Hub’s settings and the audience of the feature you use determine who can access information you share.
Your profile information and contributions may be visible to other members of the Hubs you join. Owners and administrators manage membership, roles, and community content through Closer’s moderator tools.
Direct messages are intended for their participants. Privacy settings control the audience within the app; they are not a promise of end-to-end encryption or a guarantee that Closer cannot process content to operate the service or address safety and legal issues.
Do not assume that a poll response is anonymous unless the feature explicitly says so. Share invite codes only with people you intend to invite. People who can see content may copy or share it outside Closer, including through screenshots.
We share information with other users as necessary to provide the features you use and according to the applicable audience and permissions.
