Higgsfield MCP is how Higgsfield connects to AI agents. Connect once and generate images, videos, characters, and audio from Claude or any MCP-compatible agent without opening the app. The key difference from the web app is credit behavior: Unlimited access applies only in the Higgsfield web app (higgsfield.ai), so any generation made outside it, including through MCP, CLI, Canvas, Supercomputer, and other automated tools, always deducts credits.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open protocol that lets AI agents connect to external services and call their tools. Higgsfield MCP is a connector that lets you generate images, videos, characters, and audio from Higgsfield directly inside Claude or another MCP-compatible agent, without switching apps. Because MCP connects programmatically, using Higgsfield through it falls under the Developer Terms in the Terms of Use. In short: keep your connection secure, and you're responsible for anything an agent generates on your behalf through your account. It isn't a separate product or API: it connects to your existing account and uses your existing plan credits, with no API key required.

No. Unlimited access and free generations apply only in the Higgsfield web app (higgsfield.ai). Any generation made outside it, including through MCP, CLI, Canvas, Supercomputer, and other automated tools, always deducts credits at standard plan rates. This is a current technical limitation. If you want to generate on a model where you have Unlimited access without spending credits, do it in the Higgsfield web app at higgsfield.ai. There is currently no way to apply Unlimited or free generations through MCP. Unlimited access and free generations are intended for manual use in the web app, not for automated or programmatic generation.

Do I need a separate API key to use Higgsfield MCP?
No. MCP connects through OAuth authorization, no API key is needed.
