The ODPC fined Regus Kenya Limited (the ‘Respondent’) for spamming the email of a Complainant notwithstanding requests to stop.
A Complainant reported that the Respondent kept spamming his email with messages. The Complainant asked them to stop sending email messages to no avail. The Respondent never respondent to the Complaint or the ODPCs Enforcement Notice.
The DPA held the Respondents violated the rights of the Complainants and was fined Kes.5 million.
