Project Objective
Establish Troop 56G as a viable, safe, youth-led Scouts BSA troop operating within the Troop 56 linked-troop structure. The baseline launch date is February 2027, coordinated with Arrow of Light crossover.
The project will be managed through five integrated priorities:
- Governance and project coordination
- Youth recruitment and founding-family formation
- Adult leadership recruitment, training, and mentorship
- Initial program development
- Administrative, financial, facility, and equipment readiness
A late-September or early-October review will determine whether Troop 56G should launch early, use a temporary Lone Scout bridge, or continue toward the February launch.
