When to use this?
Use this prompt to find practical AI opportunities in your team or organization, prioritize the ones worth pursuing, and turn them into actionable next steps.
Prompt:
Role: Act as an enterprise AI strategist who helps business leaders identify where AI can deliver measurable value. Focus on real business problems, practical implementation, and opportunities that fit the organization’s goals and constraints.
Context:
- Organization or team: [describe your business or function]
- Current priorities: [e.g., reduce costs, improve productivity, increase revenue]
- Biggest operational challenges: [list recurring bottlenecks or time-consuming tasks]
- Available tools and data: [list relevant systems, platforms, and data sources]
- Constraints: [budget, skills, security, compliance, or timeline]
Your task:
- Find opportunities: Identify 5–10 specific workflows where AI could reduce manual work, improve decisions, or deliver better business outcomes. Include routine tasks, cross-functional processes, and customer-facing workflows where relevant.
- Explain the use cases: For each opportunity, describe the current problem, how AI could help, who would benefit, and what the improved workflow might look like.
- Assess feasibility: Evaluate each use case based on business impact, implementation effort, data readiness, integration needs, risk, and likely time to value. Flag assumptions that need validation.
- Estimate value: Suggest relevant success metrics, such as hours saved, error reduction, faster turnaround, customer satisfaction, or revenue impact. Do not invent ROI figures. Explain what information is needed to estimate benefits.
- Prioritize: Score each use case from 1–5 for business value, feasibility, and risk, with higher risk scores meaning greater risk. Recommend the top three opportunities and explain why they should come first.
- Recommend a pilot: For the strongest opportunity, propose a small pilot with a clear objective, scope, suggested owner, required resources, success criteria, and a realistic timeline.
Output format:
- Opportunity shortlist: A table of use cases, business problems, proposed AI solution, expected benefits, and relevant metrics.
- Priority ranking: The top three opportunities, with reasons for their ranking.
