MOTION in MASS (”MiM”) is a growing community that’s for Massachusetts motion media people, by motion media people: encompassing all things 2D/3D Motion Design, Animation, Film/Video, Audio/Sound, Voice Over, and more.
Our Discord is an inclusive space for people of all experience levels, all skills, of all ages, of all industries— an all-encompassing spot for everyone to grow their skills, connect with others, learn, and find opportunities in and outside of their fields and industries. Make friends and connections, show off your skills and work, talk shop, get feedback on your projects, find job opportunities, resources, in-person and virtual events, and much, much more. No one person should be an island, you know? We’re all in this together.
Additionally, we’re absolutely against and reject the use of Generative AI in all forms. Power to the people.
So, let’s get things moving.
Founded in 2025 by multimedia designer and animator (and Bay State Design Shop organizer) Chris Maher, motion designer Chris Gollihue, and animator Gavin Schlerf.
