The Silence We Sculpt

The wind moves through the trees,

carving what no hands could touch:

a hollowed grace, a breath caught in amber.

Time, that sculptor unseen,

whittles mountains down to sand

and calls it wisdom.

We are no different,

our bodies cathedrals of erosion,

each scar a window cut for light.

Even silence,

that most tender chisel,

carves the edge of a whisper

where words once stood.

What remains is not less,
