We’re looking for an analytical Automation Engineer with coding experience to develop automations over our AI-powered platform. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s core product, working alongside our top-notch engineers to deliver impactful automations for our global clients. This role is offered at a flexible capacity, from 60% to full-time

What You'll Do

As an Automation Engineer, you will:

• Build automations with code: Implement client-facing automation flows using our in-house TypeScript-based DSL, within a full developer environment (version control, code review, CI/testing, etc.).
• Design workflows from real client processes: Dive into clients’ financial processes, systems, and spreadsheets; translate messy reality into clear process definitions and automation plans.
• Integrate and validate data sources: Map data sources/structures, handle edge cases, and ensure reliable inputs/outputs across systems.
• Test for reliability and scale: Write and execute tests, debug failures, and improve robustness to meet strict client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients: Lead requirement discussions, clarify constraints, and iterate quickly to deliver correct and maintainable solutions.
• Work AI-assisted: Use AI tools to accelerate development and troubleshooting while maintaining strong engineering rigor.

What We’re Looking For

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex processes into clear, actionable steps, and generalize these steps effectively, considering user behaviour and potential edge cases.
• Coding Experience: Experience in implementing complex software, either in academia or industry. JS knowledge is a plus.
• Client-Facing Skills: Strong English communication and service orientation to effectively engage with clients.
• Academic background in computer science
• Flexibility to work evening shifts according to operational requirements.
• Attention to Detail: A passion for precision and clarity.
• Technical Knowledge: Experience with SaaS platforms, data integration & configuration tools - a plus.
