Avatars are the digital people walking around inside your virtual event space. Every attendee and role participating in the event, including the hosts, has their own avatar that represents them during the event.

You customize and set up your avatar in the Viewer. To access the Viewer, you need to download the Airevent desktop app, enter your event access code, check in, and then you can get set up and customize your avatar.

Avatar Customization

Before joining an event, each attendee needs to customize their avatar to their liking. Here's what you can change:

• Gender – Choose between male or female.
• Skin Tone – Pick a skin tone that fits you from a range of options.
• Face Type – Customize your face shape, eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, and jaw.
• Hair Style – Choose your hair length, style, and color.
• Clothes – Pick your outfit. Males can choose from jacket, shirt, tie, pants, belt, and shoes. Females can go with separates or a dress, with options for tops, bottoms, accessories, and more.

You can preview your avatar in 360° before finalizing it.

Get Set Up

If you want to network at the event, it’s a good idea to upload the following items before the event starts

• a profile picture of yourself
• a picture of your business card
• a pdf of a handout that you can share

To get set up, download the Airevent desktop app, then sign in, and the next page will allow you to get set up.
