Baby Tracker for Dads was previously called Dad Co-Pilot.
1. The short version
- Your baby's logs live on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. We, the developer, cannot see them.
- We don't show ads, sell data, or track you across apps.
- Two services help run the app: RevenueCat (subscriptions) and TelemetryDeck (anonymous usage statistics). Neither receives your baby's name, birth date, or logs.
2. Data stored on your iPhone and in your iCloud (we can't access it)
- Baby profile: name, birth date, and (optionally) gestational age at birth.
- Care logs: feeds (time, breast or bottle, amount, duration), diapers (wet, dirty or both), sleep (start, end, and place if you add it), and any notes you add.
- Who logged it: the name you choose for yourself and an anonymous iCloud user identifier, so a shared log can show "Logged by".
- Handoffs ("Take over") and your settings, such as night mode times and your usual feed type.
- On a shared baby with Pro: the subscriber's name and the coverage end date, so other caregivers can see who covers Pro.
This data is kept by Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) in your private database. A baby someone shared with you lives in their iCloud.
3. Data that never leaves this iPhone
- Wellbeing breaks and optional mood ratings are kept only on this iPhone. They are not synced or sent anywhere.
4. Partner sharing
- When you invite someone, Apple's iCloud sharing gives them access to that baby's log. They can see and add logs, and see who logged each one and the names caregivers chose.
- Anyone with your invite link can join, so only send it to people you trust. You can see who joined in Settings → Partner. Stop Sharing removes everyone and turns the link off.
5. Subscriptions (RevenueCat)
- Apple processes all payments. We use RevenueCat to confirm your subscription.
- RevenueCat receives a random anonymous ID created by the app, your subscription and purchase history from Apple, and basic device information (app version, iOS version, country). It does not receive your name, email, or any baby data.
