Before you start

You do not need coding experience, Git experience, or terminal experience.

You’ll need:

• Claude Code access through a paid Claude plan, Team/Enterprise plan, or Anthropic Console billing.
• About 5 minutes for the basic setup.
• A browser for creating your GitHub account and authorizing Claude Code.
• A small project idea you’d be happy to share publicly or privately.

By the end, you’ll have:

• A real project folder on your computer
• A polished file structure
• A beginner-friendly README
• A free GitHub account
