Biomass is an incredibly important resource for hives.
Biomass is gained through multiple sources such as passive gain, biomass hunting parties and commands. Despite the multiple ways to get biomass, biomass still serves to be an incredibly necessary resource and one that may go into a deficit more than once in a hive.
Hives utilise biomass in all these sources.
Whilst Biomass isn’t a resource players themselves can gain like Jelly, it still serves as an incredibly important unit within a hive.
Older hives won’t struggles as much with Biomass due to their larger size and age. However, new hives will develop slow and struggle if Biomass has been sucked dry by other hives. However, this is where the supply network allows younger hives to be provided with Biomass from an Empress Hive.
