Common Questions

Why can’t I scan in the Simulator?

The iOS Simulator may not provide a usable live camera. Use a real device for the full scanning experience, or import a QR image instead.

Why does the app ask for camera access?

Camera access is used only for live QR scanning.

Why does the app ask for photo access?

Photo access is used to import QR images and save generated QR codes.

Why does the app ask for contacts access?

Contacts access is only used if you choose to import a scanned vCard.

Why does the app ask for location access?

On supported iOS versions, location-related system requirements may apply when reading the current Wi‑Fi name.

Troubleshooting

• Restart the app after changing permissions in Settings.
• Use a clear, high-contrast QR image when importing from Photos.
• Test Wi‑Fi connection features on a real device.
