By installing or using Bloom (the “Extension”) you agree to these Terms of Use and to the End User License Agreement (EULA.md). If you do not agree, do not use the Extension and uninstall it.
The plain-language (“Simple”) summary is provided for convenience only and is not binding. These Terms are the authoritative version and prevail in the event of any conflict or omission.
Any attempt to access or use the Extension by programmatic or automated means, including scripts, browser automation, modification of the Extension’s code or storage, or any other method of bypassing, disabling or pre-setting the “I agree to the Terms of Use” control, constitutes an affirmative act of accessing the Extension.
Any person who so accesses or uses the Extension is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms in full and is bound by them to the same extent as a user who accepted them through that control.
This clause concerns acceptance of these Terms as a contract only. It does not constitute, and is not relied on as, consent to any processing of personal data, which where required is requested separately, freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous.
The Extension is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by the law of your country if higher, to use it. If you are under that age, you must not use the Extension and should uninstall it. We do not knowingly process personal data of children. Where a child has sent us data, we will erase it without undue delay. If you think a child has used it, you can ask us to remove their data.
The Extension is built to collect as little data as possible. We use data only for the purposes stated in these Terms, keep it only as long as needed, and protect it with appropriate security. Any optional data collection is off by default.
User settings, shortcuts, search history, custom images and cached wallpapers are stored solely on the user’s device using browser storage APIs. This data is not transmitted to us, is not accessible to us, and is erased when the Extension is removed.
We may in the future process aggregated, non-identifying usage data, limited to: feature usage events, session counts, performance and error diagnostics, Extension version, browser type and country-level region.
Such processing will begin only after notice in an updated version of these Terms and, where required by applicable law, only with your prior consent, which may be withdrawn at any time in Settings without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
We do not collect search queries, browsing history, page content, shortcut contents, precise location, names, IP addresses or device fingerprints, and we do not collect sensitive personal data such as health, financial or biometric information. We do not build profiles of users or make automated decisions about them.
Feedback, survey responses and data removal requests that you choose to send are used only to operate and improve the Extension and to respond to you. They include only what you enter plus technical metadata (a random anonymous identifier generated on your device, browser user agent and Extension version). A contact email is collected only on a data removal request, solely to confirm the erasure, and is deleted once the request is completed.
