This policy describes what BoostMe collects, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. BoostMe is a fitness log for people 18 and older. It is not medical advice.
Who this covers
BoostMe is the mobile app published as com.humancore.boostme. This page is the public privacy policy, the terms for content you share, and the public way to request account deletion.
Information the app collects
- Account: name, email, and a password stored only as a hash.
- Profile you enter: age, gender, height, weight, goal weight, and body measurements.
- Training: workouts, routines, and workout logs you create.
- Progress photos you choose to take or pick from your library. The camera and photo library are used only for that.
- Trainer link: if you enter a trainer code, that trainer can see the training data you allow. Body metrics are shared only if you leave "view progress" on.
- Push: a device token and platform, sent to Firebase Cloud Messaging so the server can notify you. You turn this on from Settings.
- The app does not request your location, contacts, SMS, or an advertising ID.
How it is used
The data is used to show your training, measurements, and photos to you, and to the trainer you connected. Push tokens are used only to deliver notifications you enabled.
Who else can see it
- You.
- A trainer, only after you enter that trainer's code. You can turn off viewing workouts, editing workouts, and viewing body metrics, and you can remove or block that trainer.
- Google Firebase, which receives the push token when notifications are enabled.
- Nobody else. BoostMe does not sell personal information and does not use it for ads.
Other accounts cannot browse your profile, workouts, routines, logs, or photos.
