About The Role

We're looking for a curious, hands-on Brand Story Designer to support Core Design's active brand work under the guidance of our Design Director and Creative Director.

You’ll shape how Core’s work is seen, turning client projects into case studies for our website, social channels, and the press, and learn how a project becomes a story people remember. It’s a role for someone who thinks in visuals, cares about craft, and wants to grow inside a creative agency that believes the work deserves to be told well.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Find the story in each project: the problem, the turning point, the outcome. Decide what to leave out.
  2. Design case studies for our website, including the sequence, layout, image selection and typographic rhythm.
  3. Adapt each story for social (carousels, stills, short video) and for press kits and media submissions.
  4. Art-direct and prepare project assets: photography, mockups, process material.
  5. Work with our designers and strategists to draw out the reasons behind their decisions, and shape those into clear, short copy.
  6. Bring work to life through motion where movement explains better than a still frame.
  7. Build and look after a case study system, so every story feels unmistakably Core. </aside>

What you’ll gain

Please note: This is open to all levels, so the compensation package will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

  1. Work shoulder to shoulder with the CD, DD and Strategist. No layers of management in between, just direct collaboration with the people setting the bar.
