What Is This?

Build What's Next is the official hackathon of Next Gen Summit, happening in Uyo on October 10, 2026.

This isn't a same-day, rush-it-out hackathon. You get real time to build, plan, and actually make something you're proud of, then bring it to the summit and demo it live in front of a real room.

Key Dates — Save These

Once registration closes on September 20, you'll have until October 8 to build. That's about 18 days to go from idea to a real, working project.

Who Can Join?

• Anyone with a team of 2 or more people — no solo entries
• No age restriction, no experience requirement — if you can build it, you're welcome
• You do not need to already be attending Next Gen Summit to register for the hackathon, but your team will need to be present on October 10 for the live demo
