Summary

Textreplacer for Jira does not collect, store, or transmit any data outside of Atlassian’s infrastructure. The app runs entirely on the Forge platform, has no egress (no external network calls), and does not use any third-party analytics, logging, or storage services.

What data the app accesses

To perform its function, the app requests the following Jira scopes:

Scope Purpose
read:jira-work Read issue Summary, Description, issue type, and parent link to run your JQL search.
write:jira-work Update Summary/Description on issues you explicitly choose to modify.
storage:app Store operation history and pre-change values (for Undo) inside Forge’s built-in storage.

All actions run with the permissions of the user operating the app (asUser()), not elevated app permissions — the app can never do anything to Jira data that the logged-in user couldn’t already do themselves.

Where data is stored

Data sharing

The app does not share any data with third parties. There are no external API calls, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising integrations.
