Independent bookshop, coffee bar & community space — Amsterdam · opening 2027
Purpose, values, audience, positioning, voice are all defined. I have a strong aesthetic point of view and two potential visual directions I’m excited about. I’m looking for a designer to bring the visual identity to life with me.
The scope (Phase 1)
- Exploring and finalizing the visual direction with me
- Logo / word mark and a simple secondary mark
- Color system
- Typography system
- A concise brand guidelines document we can use going forward
- A social media kit: a set of reusable, editable templates (posts and stories) plus profile setup, so I can start building my audience right away
Possible phase 2 (separate, closer to opening): signage, packaging, print, and other in-store materials.
Who I’m looking for
- A brand identity designer with at least one full identity built end-to-end in your portfolio
- Confidence with bold color, graphics and typography
- Comfort working with sexuality and the erotic as subject matter
- Resonance with the Black, queer, and feminist references and visual traditions the brand draws from
- Important: reliable and communicative. Someone I can flow with and rely on.
Alignment and good creative chemistry matter more than a portfolio of big brands. Black and queer designers to the front. Remote workers are welcome.
Budget & terms
Open to discussion for the right fit. We'll agree a fixed scope, fee, and timeline up front.
