This Privacy Policy explains how Caffeine Budget ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the Caffeine Budget iOS application. We built Caffeine Budget around a simple idea: your caffeine and sleep habits are personal, and a good buddy doesn't need to know more than they need to.

1. Information We Collect

Caffeine Budget is designed to run locally on your device. The information described below is what we may collect when you use the app.

1.1 Information you provide

Onboarding profile. During setup you may tell us:

• Your target sleep time and wake time
• A rough metabolism tier (fast, normal, slow, or custom)
• Optional lifestyle context: whether you are pregnant, use hormonal contraceptives, smoke, or notice afternoon caffeine affecting your sleep
• Optional daily caffeine limit and safety threshold
• Preferred model precision (Standard, Advanced, Scientific)

Caffeine intake records. For every drink you log, we store:

• Category (coffee, tea, milk tea, energy drink, decaf, manual)
• Cup size (small, medium, large) or manual milligrams
• The timestamp and your local time zone at the moment of logging
• Optional notes you add
• Source of the entry (quick-log tile or manual)

Sleep feedback. Once a day, you may tap a quality rating (good, ok, poor) to tell Caffeine Budget how you slept the previous night.
