This is the home for how we talk about Capsule 6 — who the studio is, what it stands for, and the voice, fashion, and visual language that make its work recognizable. It's studio-level: the philosophy that sits above any single product. Product-specific guides (like the Teak Time Brand Guide) live in their own pages and inherit from here.
Capsule 6 makes companion objects — small reminders that you're more than the role you're playing today.
The studio in one breath.
Capsule 6 is a creative studio building beautifully crafted companion objects — small collectibles for the part of you that exists outside of work and school. The kind of thing that sits in your space and catches your eye in the middle of a long day to quietly say: hey, you're okay. take a breath.
We don't make trophies or status pieces. We make grounded, friend-shaped company — objects designed to keep you company through life's mundane moments and day-to-day headaches. Teak Time, our ceramic "Benchies," is the studio's first product line — but Capsule 6 is the parent brand it all ladders up to.
Why we make what we make.
The whole studio runs on one idea: finding joy in the mundane.
You are not your job. You are not your GPA. You are not the endless scroll of tasks that eat your hours. You're also the person who plays chess in the park, bakes bread at midnight, drives three hours to hit the slopes. Capsule 6 exists to remind people that those parts of them matter — that the "unproductive" hours aren't escapes from real life, they are real life.
Our north-star image says it best: a glass tank full of soft, identical sheep — the homogeneous everyday of work, school, and the systems that flatten people into roles. Sitting outside the tank, having a latte and leaning on each other, are the people we make things for. Not raging against the system, not climbing it, not escaping it — just outside it for a moment, and the only color in the room.
That's the feeling every Capsule 6 object carries: a quiet exhale. Permission to pause. A small reminder to take a break.
The person on the other side of the bench.
Young adults, roughly 18–35 — university students, recent grads, people early in their careers. They know the weight of modern responsibility: the 9-to-5 grind, the endless lectures, the internship that treats them like a ghost. And somewhere in all of it, they've carved out something that's theirs — a hobby, a passion, a pocket of time where they're not producing or optimizing, just existing.
They're tired but hopeful. They want permission to slow down. Capsule 6 gives it to them.
How Capsule 6 speaks.
Warm, grounded, and quietly confident — never loud. We sound like a good friend who doesn't need you to be "on": someone you can sit with in comfortable silence. A little wry, gently optimistic, and always kind.
