The Role

We are looking for a Care Coordinator to become the backbone of how iklo finds, trains, and keeps the best caregive in rs in India.

This is not a back-office training role. This is the role that determines whether a parent in Bengaluru or Hyderabad can hand over their child and actually exhale.

Our caregivers work in a fast-paced, on-demand model across short visits and multiple locations. Training here is not a one-time onboarding checklist. It is an ongoing discipline. You will be the person who turns our caregiver standards into caregivers who can actually deliver them, consistently, across every location.

But there is more. Our hiring process is broken. Attrition in the blue-collar caregiver sector sits at 70 to 80 percent. Caregivers leave because they do not feel seen, because they are not trained well enough to feel confident, and because no one has built a career path that makes them want to stay.

You will fix this.

What You Will Do

Build the Hiring Engine

• Design and run a hiring process that actually works. Not just posting jobs and hoping. A process that finds the right people, screens for the right instincts, and moves fast enough that good candidates do not drop off.
• Create assessment frameworks that go beyond resumes. Practical evaluations that reveal whether someone truly has the patience, warmth, and judgment to care for a child they just met.
• Fix the broken pipeline. Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure we always have a bench of qualified caregivers ready to step in.

Own the Training Discipline

• Run the full caregiver onboarding and shadow-training program. Cover safety and protection, early-childhood care practices, and hands-on skill mastery per our certification standards.
• Certify caregivers for solo work. Observe and sign off on shadow periods, skill demonstrations, and documentation quality before any caregiver works independently.
• Run recurring refresher sessions and safety drills across all locations. First aid. Safe-sleep. Incident response. Track recertification timelines and never let a standard slip.
• Build iklo-specific skills training tailored to our on-demand model. Short-visit engagement. Parent-handoff communication. Behavioral de-escalation. We are not teaching generic childcare. We are teaching iklo childcare.
• Build and maintain training materials, assessment rubrics, and the certification tracker. Flag any caregiver or location falling behind before it becomes a problem.

Shape the Curriculum with IMTC

• Interface with IMTC and other equivalent training partners to set the vision and curriculum for caregiver development.
