The Role

We are looking for a Care Ops Manager to build the operational backbone that lets iklo scale from two cities to twenty without losing a single standard.

This is not a role where you run around putting out fires at every center every day. We already have caregivers on the ground. We have technology for check-ins and logging. We have center coordinators who handle the daily rhythm.

What we do not have yet is the system that makes all of this scalable. The SOPs that hold when we open our fifth center. The safety protocols that do not depend on one person's memory. The partner relationships that are documented, tracked, and renewed proactively. The reporting structure that tells us what is working and what is breaking before a parent notices.

That is what you will build.

What You Will Do

Design Scalable Operations

• Build the operating system for iklo Nest locations. Define the roles, responsibilities, and handoffs that make every center run smoothly, whether it is the first day or the hundredth day.
• Create and maintain SOPs for ratios, hygiene, safety, opening and closing protocols, nap-time routines, and emergency procedures. Write them so clearly that a new coordinator can step in and follow them without guessing.
• Design the audit framework for safety, hygiene, staffing, and brand standards across all locations. Own the corrective action plans when something falls short.

Oversee Caregiver Operations

• Define the hiring and onboarding standards that scale. Work with the Care Coordinator to ensure every new caregiver has a clear path from shadow training to solo certification.
• Build shift rosters and coverage frameworks that handle last-minute bookings, no-shows, and surge periods without stress.
• Ensure consistent app usage for check-in, logging, and attendance across all centers. Make technology a habit, not a chore.
• You are not the one doing every hire or covering every shift. You are the one making sure the system does not break when we add three more centers next quarter.

Own Safety and Compliance

• Safety is not a checklist. It is the culture. You will be the guardian of our safety standards, ensuring that every center meets them every single day.
• Run safety audits, incident reviews, and compliance documentation. Build the feedback loops that catch risks before they become incidents.
• Partner with the Care Coordinator to ensure safety training is not just delivered but absorbed. If a caregiver does not know the emergency protocol, that is a system failure, not a people failure.
