1. Project Overview:

<aside> ✏️ SalsaFit Gym is a small, real gym and dance studio in Bucharest, offering group classes like Zumba, Salsa Cubana, Pilates, and Qi Gong. Its current website (salsafitgym.ro) has no digital booking system — every class reservation happens manually through WhatsApp.

This project redesigns the booking experience end-to-end: from spotting the problem in the live site, through research, user flow mapping, wireframes, and a full visual design system.

<aside> ✏️ Impact: Wasted time in back-and-forth messaging, late or unconfirmed bookings, and an inconsistent experience for users who want a quick action.

Insights (flow/UX)

Insights (visual/UI) Beyond the booking flow, the current site also has clear visual and usability issues:

The current process: six manual steps, with an unpredictable wait before the user ever finds out if a spot is available.

User persona: designed around Andreea, a 27-year-old who decides last-minute and expects to book in seconds, not minutes.

Proposed flow: a four-step process where availability is visible from the start, so the user always knows the outcome before taking action.

5. Ideation:

<aside> ✏️ Before any visual design decisions were made, low-fidelity wireframes were used to test the structure of each screen — confirming what information belongs where, before adding color, type, or polish.
