Layer One Robotics is a competitive robotics league with one mission: bring competitive robotics into the mainstream. Table-top scale of robotics makes the competition accessible and low-cost for anyone who wants to enter.
In Cash Out, two competing alliances flip two-sided chips to their color, and place them into elevated banks for additional points.
Alliances are made up of 2 robots each. (2v2, red and blue)

Matches are 2 minutes and 15 seconds of driver control.
At the end of the match, all chips will be counted according to which color is up. Whichever alliance scores the most points wins the match!
Robots must start within a 6in x 6in x 6in area, and can extend up to 12in x 12in and any height once the match starts.
Robots can also possess up to 5 chips at a time.
The field is 60 in x 60 in and consists mostly of 3D printed parts that can be easily recreated at home.
On the fields are:
28 double-sided chips (red/blue)
5 high banks

2 low banks
4 ground and 4 elevated safes for each alliance
